If you are asking about another trail within Hamilton pool: the trail is about 3 miles and it will take you to a secluded river with lots of grotto. The serenity is worth it. It's easier than the trail from the parking lot to the pool. The trail from the parking lot to the actual Hamilton pool is about 30min. Going down is easy, but walking back up on a hot day with a crowded group proves difficult for an eighty-year-old man.
From the parking lot should be around 15 to 20 minutes depending of the paste. For your Dad should be ok the pad have some up and downs that your father may need some help and definitely word the walk.
If hes a healthy 80 he should be ok. Its 15-20 walk. Its a little rough. But well worth it
Its like 20 min kinda steep tho have to be real careful for your dad. But does have places to stop and rest
The path is a bit rough, natural area, but a hand hold now and then should get him through. Just take your time and watch your step.
Thanks so much for the Info!I'm A Healthy 21 year old that just turned 47 a month ago. I can hike up and down blind fold with my arm's and legs tied. I've been wanting to take my Dad who's much older, but probably in the shape to make the hike. But I appreciate your all input!!!
Half an hour to go and 45 min to come back. Senior citizens in 80 should be perfectly fit to go there.
