The fishing there can really be hit-or-miss. The fish were in there in the fall and once it got cooler it's like they are gone.
There's definitely fishing. The Tomoka River and surrounding waters are some of the best in the area. However without local knowledge the waters can be a little tricky to navigate. There's seatrout , snook(in warm weather) redfish, black drum, and flounder, just to name a few. Good fishing and tight lines.
Fishing is good look in the local section of the paper for tide info and what's biting and where.
I didn't catch anything, but alot of people do, I think I just had bad luck that day
Watched a few mangrove snappers get nabbed. One little Red, and some grunts. Live shrimp, popping corks..
Don't fish, but Scott at the Outpost Store in the park is very knowledgeable and helpful. Check with him.
Didn't fish, only stayed one night as they were full d/t kids out of school n lots of locals camping. Fishing available.
