Wonderful place. We stopped in and I had the stuffed flounder… excellent! My husband ordered their special: Cajun prime rib sandwich… it was a whole piece of prime rib on a bun! It was so good, I’m a little jealous I didn’t order it!!!! Definitely will be back!

Great views and even better food. Second time coming to the River Grill, been each time we’ve been in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area. Ordered the stuffed flounder and wasn’t disappointed. Our hostess was super nice and explained everything on the menu very well. We came around 4 usually when dinner rush starts and didn’t have to wait long even after specifically asking for outside deck seating. Worth the wait and the prices for sure.

The service and scenery were wonderful. The host was pleasant as well as the server. The food was ok. The appetizer was delicious, fried onion pieces, both red and white with a perfect sauce. We both had the same meal, mine fried and my daughters was grilled. It was the seafood combo they have. It wasn't bad but, it wasn't as good as I expected.

Fabulous dinner! Very nice server! My husband thought the chowder was a little too spicy for him. Everything on the trays was delicious. Definitely felt the bayou vibe! Fun for all 5 of us ages 20-72

Just like any restaurant, reservations are a good idea. You do not "need" one. But they do get crowded, so take advantage of the fact that they accept reservations. We had a party of 10, and they had 2 tables pulled together and all set up when we got there.

I know of no seafood spot that has anything solely vegetarian. Hush puppies are corn & fries are potatoes.

Probably not due to the river and the dog being able to drown. However if it is a service dog i believe u can.
