2 people can ride together but I would go alone probably. It's so much fun. I've ridden with my kids but I think 2 adults might be too much weight
The carts are built for two people however there us a 300 pound weight limit. I do not know how well this is enforced though. The first year we didnt know and went together. He is 6 foot 2 i am 5 foot 8 we exceeded that. I went alone this year.
