A super easy, beautiful hike to a gorgeous lake. Definitely worth it, if you want to do any hiking at all. There are even some talented (and not so talented) mountain bikers on the trail.

I rode Peaks Trail #45 from this lot to Breckenridge and back. Partly due to the fall colors, but mainly due to the trail itself, it was amazing.

Perfect hike for a family with young kids. Some areas with a lot of rocks and roots on the trail, so you have to watch your footing a bit, but it’s more than worth it. If you’re staying in Frisco, you may not even need to deal with the crowded parking lot. Add onto the short 1.6 mile out-and-back hike by walking from town.

Beautiful place. Unfortunately there were quite a few people. Lots of trails to choose from. No trash cans so please remember to pack out everything you bring in. I picked up 6 bags of dog poo left on the trail... I didn't bring a dog.
