I would give zero stars if I could. We had a terrible experience with our small pontoon rental via Frisco Bay Marina. They gave us a faulty boat that wouldn’t accelerate correctly from leaving the dock, and the trim wouldn’t remain raised, all which the worker admitted to before we left. So, the propellers fell off just 35 min into our ride. We never neared the shore, never got near buoys, never hit anything in the water, and a woman worker tried to tell us it’s not possible for the propellers to fall off without hitting something. You can google that is not true. Our pontoon needed major maintenance, and they tried to get us to pay for it. The worst part was when we were stuck in the lake, we called the number on the boat that THEY TELL YOU TO CALL IN AN EMERGENCY, AND THEY NEVER ANSWERED OR RETURNED OUR MESSAGES. We were stranded for 45 minutes and had to call the sheriff to come tow us back to shore. Also worth noting- we had a baby and small child on board with us. That sheriff witnessed that we weren’t close to shore and didn’t hit anything. We were immediately greeted as though we were at fault, NO apology for not answering our calls, NO acknowledgement that the sheriff said we did nothing wrong, just telling us we had to pay for damages. It was absolutely the worst service, treatment, and boat rental experience.

Super friendly staff, which is why we chose to try this place over others. 3 hours on the water for our family for $60 was cheaper than other surrounding locations!

I rented some kayaks online a few weeks before our vacation. We all had a blast! Booking was easy, staff was friendly, and overall I had a good experience. I highly recommend this place!

We rented two tandem kayaks and a single kayak. Rental process was easy. We arrived early and we were in our kayaks within a few minutes. There is a large area on the reservoir for paddling. We were also able to get out and explore the islands, but bring your mosquito repellant. This was my first time on a kayak and I found it to be very easy. I think it would be great fun for any skill level. Paddling on your own is a little easier than coordinating with a partner in the tandem kayak. The two hour rental time was perfect.

No fee, unless it's a large boat.
My girlfriend was there this morning and said it was quite busy... I assume it was open or else it wouldn't have been so busy..
Yes they do. Rentals need to be done in advance though.
Both frisco and Dillon marina rent boats
There is no swimming allowed in the lake as it is Denver's drinking water, its too cold to jump in, except for dogs. Wouldn't recommend a dip
Just call the marina directly. They can store it year-round or seasonally and they can put it in the water and launch it all for you for the price
