This place is disgusting, but we're pre-paid and stuck here for a week. God, help us. NOT CLEAN. Paint/plaster peeling EVERYWHERE. Everything metal is COMPLETELY corroded. I cleaned the room myself (an entire tamale was in microwave, pee on the toilet seat, hair/dirt on floor, stains on the walls mostly came off with a wipedown). Trash overflowing in EVERY SINGLE trashcan on the grounds. Trash peppered the curtilage/grounds, the grass needs to be cut, and it's apparent it's never been properly edged, etc....
No bugs and we were there a week. You pay for a Hilton to stay at a Hilton. No complaints here. We will stay there again.
It's clean and I have pretty high standards, it's not the Ritz, you get what you pay for, BUT...FYI they are not (at least as far as 3 weeks ago) cleaning rooms during your stay. Not even if you ask, that was a bit be annoying, but my guess is that's probably a lot of hotels policy right now #stupidcovid
I was there 3 weeks ago They moved a family from the ground floor to a different room. Roaches. I know they are common in the south, but this northern girl says hell no to bugs. The bar next door helps you forget the sand on the floor. All my clothes smelled moldy when I got home. I'm guessing he filthy AC vents and bath fan had something to do with that.
Aint no bugs jus hella sand
Our room was not dirty. It was clean. Sheets were washed. Counters were clean. Definitely no bugs. I was pretty satisfied with the room. I'm sure you can tell them to make sure they clean it really good before you get there.
