FYI... If you can't make it for the guided tour, you can still walk around the gardens and go through the house without a guide. There's a nice brochure in the information kiosk as you leave the parking lot on your way to the entrance gate(which looks like an old time garden gate😊). We got there at about 4:15 & had time to see quite a lot in 45 minutes. We visited many years ago and found that this place is really nice since being taken over by the Parks service. Very nicely maintained with very knowledgeable staff on duty.
