Nice scenic place on the Missouri River. Campsites are a little too close for my desire to have a private wooded experience.

Beautiful state park. Very clean and well maintained. Leaves are starting to change for fall. Recommend a family gathering during the fall days.

Awesome views and lots of amenities. There's a small store, fish cleaning station, restrooms close to most everything, and swim area. Staff is extremely helpful and they have some great events too.

Fargo Metro | Jun 6, 2020

Yes. There are several shoreline areas in the park you can access. Make sure to check with Park Staff as to the area you like to fish to make sure you are aware of certain times gates are closed for the end of day to avoid getting locked behind a gate. They are really wonderful and helpful with making your time there great and enjoyable.
