Absolutely beautiful worth the entrance to the park free.... Lakes cabins, highest point in Alabama...worth a stop forsure... prepare for mountain driving

Well maintained observation tower and you can go up the tower to the top and see 360 degrees overlook. Walking up the stairs was a cool experience itself. Kids would love seeing and experiencing this place. If you are afraid of heights, this would be challenging but some people we crossed paths with having this fear were able to see this. Like with many overlooks, go on a clear day.
