The fences are 4 feet. I am 5 foot and I am taller than the fences. Most dogs will be too distracted by all the fun to try to escape. Each area has two gates to get in with small spaces in between to prevent escapees.

The fences at the Davison dog park are more than 4 ft tall there at least 5 ft tall. At least the outside fences are.
