The trains are run by volunteers who have been trained in the procedures dealing with their set up and maintenance and storage. They sign up for the days and times that they are available. The trains can run all year depending on the weather. They do not run when it is too cold or too hot or windy. Also when it is wet, (ice, rain or snow) . Weekends are usually the best time to see the trains running. There are typically more volunteers available then
