sweet liitle park and public green space. the arboretum has incredible trees. it is truly amazing how these ancient trees seem to go completely unnoticed. the moreton bay fig [Ficus macrophylla] plate states that it dates it back to 1880. upon a bit of research, it appears to be one of the oldest in the world. a stunning Taxodium distichum bald cypress dates back to 1878. Incredible! come visit and share some love and respect for these ancient gems.

This is a peaceful and nice park to sit and relax. The roses are are in bloom. See attached pictures. Take a lunch and enjoy... Of course the squirrels might beg for a little tidbit...

Well it is probably my number one favorite Little Park and perfect for my for me and my little dog, Little! The baby park across the street is perfect for small dogs because they can run up around the park and the lawn and they’re contained basically. We then go over to the gardens and we love the Japanese garden the most. I hope it will have water in there this year. I used to volunteer and deadhead the roses but my business got bigger and busier and I don’t volunteer anymore but I love going here.

Small but amazing park for photoshoot. It has scenic gardens, a picnic area, and a historic home to enjoy. Shinn is a peaceful getaway in an otherwise busy area.Great place to see unusual plants some dating back to the late 1800s. Nice to walk around and relax. Good for adult picnic. Excellent photo opportunities and perhaps now a little too well known
