Yes
The Grandkids love it.
Yes. There are usually lots of people in and around the creek in warmer months
Kids, adults and pets, if you like cold water. .
I saw an answer that said something about snakes being in the water. All snakes are small and short or you might find a black rat snake that can measure a pretty good size. In the warm/hot months, North Carolina is known to have Copperheads but if you stay out of they're way, they stay out of yours. Other than that... these snakes are completely harmless. I used to go out into the creek with my cousins and we'd flip rocks over and everything, purposely looking for crawdads and snakes. We used to make a contest out of it and see who could catch the biggest crawdads or the longest snakes. Mind the fact that I was 4 playing in the creek and started catching snakes and crawdads when I was six. Catch and release. Thats all. I'm not writing this to cause worry and panic. I'm just telling you that these snakes do exist and they are harmless. It wouldnt hurt to help your children know which snakes are okay and which are not. Just for educational purposes. Not to scare them either.
I hope not because saw a snake in there
Not sure, don't have kids.
