literally moved in and there was an insane flea infestation, when speaking to one of the managers we asked if they would reimburse us for the flea killing products we bought and the manager practically laughed in our faces and said no. they also said there couldnt be fleas because they changed the carpet. dealt with it for about a month before the problem was actually solved. also the wifi never works. ever and the office is closed on random days. to be fair there are staffing shortages but sometimes they close early without sending out an email. they also tell you to keep the trash in your bin for the pickup, which would be totally fine if they actually picked it up every day (except for the days they dont of course). the maintenance men are cool though and anything that there was a problem with gets fixed pretty quickly.

I Went to apply for a sublease and The lady at the desk gave false information to me and lease holder so he paid for the application based misleading words and got denied.

I would like to preface that my opinion of mountaineer village is independent of my opinion of the maintenance team. This review is strictly in terms of the maintenance team. Mountaineer village has over 500 bedrooms that these 3 men look over and they are always prompt and timely. I personally have had Steven and Dustin and a few of the temps hired at the beginning of the year. They are always kind and good about working around schedules. I’m impressed that they come to do the tasked asked of them, but also look for other ways to be helpful while they’re around. They’re very attentive and helpful. They also wiped their feet and wore their masks which is always a plus. The maintenance staff is probably my favorite part of living at mountaineer village.

Lived here for 3 years and really enjoyed the community. Though rent was raised every year it didn't bother because the maintenance team and leasing office employees were always so helpful and quick to respond to any concerns. Location is great if you don't want to live too close to campus but having to ride the bus is one of the draw backs (it is always on schedule tho!). Like any college neighborhood, your going to have some sleepless nights from parties and such, have reasonable expectations and you will really enjoy living here.

It's for anyone, though mostly populated by students, I've met several older couples and families who live in the complex. Despite having "Mountaineer" in the name, it is not exclusively for students.
We do! We allow cats and dogs. We have weight and breed restrictions, but welcome them.
