What an awesome campground. We went a few weeks ago which was our first time visiting and we didn't really know what to expect. Everyone was absolutely super welcoming and the facility was extremely clean and just what we needed for a relaxing weekend. If you're looking for a place to escape that's close to town I highly recommend checking these guys out. I don't think you'll be disappointed and it's right on the creek.

We love it at Flintlock. It's peaceful and quiet. We always choose a creekside spot for the soothing sounds. They can accommodate any size camper from pop up to class A. Take a walk around the campground and you'll meet lots of nice people. There are trails to hike and you can fish in the creek. The staff is wonderful and friendly. They remember us from year to year. Jodi is wonderful and if you have dogs you'll see a lot of her. Ice and firewood are always for sale at very reasonable prices.

This is a nice family campground. We stayed 1 night, camping . The office was super helpful and friendly. Loved having a creek right behind the campsite.

We had a wonderful time camping at Flintrock Campground! It was clean, beautiful, and so relaxing with the creek right at our campsite. The bathrooms were the nicest campground bathrooms I’ve ever been to!!!! The staff was so kind and accommodating. Will definitely come back when we are in the Boone area!

The water electric sites for tents, pop-ups, and vans are $30/night. I'm not sure if those are 20 or 30 amps. Full hook-up w/30 amps is $37/night. Based on 2 occupants. $4 for each additional person. Kids 8 and under are free.
They live in office so check in is open, not sure about check out. But the location is beautiful!! There's even a little stream w/ water fall
Yes
Very pet friendly. Just keep them on a leash and pick up after them. Dogs are allowed in cabins and the lodge. $10 pet fee for cabins.
Three to five miles away. Great place to visit. Enjoy.
Well it is a campground. The showers are what you would have at a campground They are kept as clean as well as you can keep showers at a campground One thing is you do not run out of hot water,
The campground is closed for the winter. They closed November 7th and reopen April 1, 2022.
Entrance is not a problem. Leaving (and turning left) is sometimes difficult due to the busy road and relatively steep grade. However, this situation is not uncommon in the mountain towns.
Yes they have a bathhouse
Up the hill on hwy 105 about a mile or so is an Ingles grocery store
They had posted on their Facebook page that this was their last week to schedule campsites until spring. Best to call them directly for info this time of the year.
Minor flooding. What little damage was done has been repaired. We are just wet now. Come on up and see us...
Yes, there's a creek going through the campground and they allow fishing
$65.00 per night.
They usually close the last of October but may stay open into early November. Depends on the weather. Call them for their plans.
They do have permanent sites but the park is closed during the winter and there is a waiting list for the permanent sites
