My associate and I live in the Triangle area of North Carolina. We were in Boone, NC when we had car trouble and decided to contact The Modern Subaru of Boone Dealership. After going have a few conversations with AMY AND ADRIANE, regarding our options, and riding through the dealership on a Sunday (to see any available inventory) we took my vehicle back home. We made a general call to (what we believe to be) the Subaru Dealership in Durham, NC. After getting no assistance, we phone Adriane in Boone. Adriane, Amy and Lacy - 3 wonderful and very professional ladies, assisted in our efforts to secure a vehicle. Fortunately, there was a 2021 Subaru Outback that had just come into the dealership. The three ladies made themselves available to answer any questions which gave us a tremendous amount of comfort. We then decided to proceed with the purchase, still in the Triangle area. Amy, Adriane and Lacy were wonderful in their efforts to ensure that we were comfortable with our selection, and extremely professional in assisting us to handle a significant amount of the paperwork virtually. This saved a tremendous amount of time in the final process. We all agreed on a closing date (approximately 2 days after we decided to proceed) and we (my associate and I) worked with Amy in providing the required documentation for closing. We were extremely pleased with the efforts of these wonderful ladies, working as a cohesive team in addressing each and every conceivable issue regarding the closing process. Upon our arrival at Modern Subaru at 9:00am on the day of closing, Lacy was ready and fully prepared to move forward expeditiously. Adriane and Amy were also kind enough to come and greet us during this process. Everything went smoothly and we could not have been more pleased. We thank AMY, ADRIENE AND LACY, along with their colleagues working behind the scenes, for their kindness, courtesy and professionalism throughout this process, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE STAFF OF MODERN SUBARU OF BOONE, NC FOR YOUR AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS!

Service for a state inspection was great. However, I also needed a tire rotation and synthetic oil change. But I can't pay a whopping $140 for that. I'll buy my own floor jack, oil and filter and still save money. Or drive to the Subaru dealership in Hickory and save $50. I just don't get it...

Fantastic place to go for maintenance or buying. Years ago I bought my first car here and the staff never got pushy or fed me fantasy stories about a “retiree’s car kept in a garage”. My car had been run hard and hit a deer. They told me that point blank so I knew what I was getting into. Explained cost of ownership and estimated insurance to make sure I could afford the car I wanted. I appreciate the no bull buying experience. Maintenance department guys are fun, enthusiastic, always friendly, and most importantly dependable.

After a terrible experience at another Subaru dealership in Bristol (price gouging during shortage but not displaying the price online), I came to Modern Subaru of Boone and met Lacy and the team at Modern. They do not participate in the supply shortage mark up tactics that other dealerships are using. Lacy was kind and patient. I had a great experience. My wife bought her Ascent here as well and while we forget the salesman's name, she had a great experience as well. We'll definitely be back once we're in the market again. Thanks!
