Mike unfortunately that was only the second time I visited. So I am not sure of the best camp site. Can tell you that they all look very nice. To reserve I would call the office at the park.
We have a wide variety of campsites, some with electric and some without. Many of them are on the lake. It is hard to tell you exactly which one is the best everyone has their own opinion. Unfortunately because we are such a popular Park just getting a campsite can be difficult. The best thing to do is call and check availability unfortunately that will narrow down what site you select. 1-800-264-2441 For example, site 55, has a great view and books one year in advance. People line up at the front door, in advance to reserve that site , for the next year.
There is "technically" a lower, and upper part at Brady Mountain. The boat ramp is on the lower, so more traffic......if that helps.
