On google it says they open at 8 30 but if I get up there earlier am i able to find parking, get in and hike?

Yes, there is plenty of parking until they open. Hours they opened when I was there was 8am. Ticket in the window is for after you enter the gate and park on the hiking or camping area

Not sure, I know when you park you have to have a ticket in your window
