I cant take the chance of driving all the way from IL with the hubby and 2 dogs only to find out we cant get a site. Are there REALLY no reservations taken? Is there an email address?

I would find a campground the night before you want to be there close by. Get up early the day of and be ther 8ish and wait for someone to pack up. Best sites at the top with free blueberries

No reservations. Very nice place, but we were uncomfortable with that as well. We travelled 6 hours to get there and they did have some sites available, but if they hadn't... (and they had no vacancy signs out before the end of the day every night we spent there.) Key is to arrive earlier in the day.
