Application fees are standard at almost any apartment community you go to. They cover the cost of background and credit checks as the processing for employment and rental verifications. Money received from tenants for rent is used for maintaining the property, paying property and city taxes, licensing, employee wages, etc...

Basically you are paying for them to run your background check. I've been living here 4 yrs now it's a nice place to live
