Missing a key for a file cabinet. Can I pick one up in the store?

If you get the key replaced from Ikea, would suggest that you write your experience here for our knowledge.

Sometimes it easier to change the whole lock with new and youll have new keys

I'm not sure, but I would call the store first before driving out there to bolingbrook.

You will probably have to buy the replacement lock set with a new key. Unless you can bring the whole unit in, they have no proof that you are not breaking in to someone else's file cabinet.

I would email them and ask.

I've never thought of this. That would be cool if you could, but at the same time, not. Universal keys? Either way, hope you get what you need.
