The Bolingbrook IKEA allows you to take the carts into the parking lot. They even have a cart station (aka like the grocery stores) to return the cart in lieu of wheeling it all the way back to the store. The Schaumburg location does not allow you to. Trust me I have been to both IKEA stores many times. And if you don't trust me, do the 360 view on Google maps of the Bolingbrook location and you can see an employee pushing the carts from the parking lot back to the store.
The best way at Bolingbrooke Ikea is you keep your cart in front of the loading area, bring your car in the loading area parking and load all your Ikea stuff to the boot. Or You can take your kart to the parking lot as needed... Dont worry, if you need sime assitanve at loading the heavy stuffs, still at the delivery point you can ask some one from Ikea to help you loading. They have loading volunteers. Yellow striped shirt and blue pants...
All carts can go into the parking lot.
Yes we did as well. Even the large item carts.
I have done the same last time i was there.
Yes
Yes, you can pull your car up to the loading area but I do believe I remember that there is an opening where you can get a cart through to get to the parking lot. I am not positive but I think there's one unless I got lucky and a gate just happened to be opened when I was there.
You can always pull your car up to the loading area.
