My preschooler is very into The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle right now. Of course we see butterflies at this time of year, but he is so upset there aren't any caterpillars. Are there any at the Butterfly Rainforest Exhibit by chance?

We didn't see any inside the exhibit but there were some inside a lab. The lab is part of the museum not the exhibit. There were all stages of the metamorphosis cycle on display behind a giant lab window

There are none that I saw in the actual exibit but there are quite a few behind glass that are on display
