We always either stay at Hiltons or Marriott. Definitely can be a hotel connoisseur at times. This Home 2 Suites was not in a great area. People outside uses the outlets for their phones. Wonders outside looking for rides and asking to stay at the hotel. Needles to say didn’t feel safe walking my dog at all. The room was ok. The shower floor could have been cleaner and under the AC unit was a marker from previous stayers. Beds were a bit uncomfortable almost feeling springs but did the job to get to sleep. Fist morning went down to get coffee young lady at front desk didn’t even acknowledge me. I head over to get coffee and check out the breakfast and the waffle maker had a sign it was broken. Had a few pre-made sandwiches and some packaged muffins. Cereal was there also but more on the counter than should have been. I than realize the reason the young lady didn’t speak cause she was on her phone. Usually you would see the breakfast person out cleaning up or refreshing the food but no one was in sight. Just not normal to see this staying at a Hilton. Doesn’t take much to say hello to someone. Needless to say I didn’t go down the next morning for anything.

Quiet, clean, brand new and the hotel has keyless/wireless entry with the app. Breakfast was amazing, just wish it had been restocked. Bathroom needed to be cleaned better but it wasn’t dingy, just soap buildup. Would stay at again for sure.

Positive: Clean room, comfortable bed. Negative: The carpet by the elevator was dirty and had hair all over it. The free breakfast wasn¿t appealing. There wasn¿t any half and half for the coffee.

I always read reviews and saw several mentioning Tia, well I met her and she was absolutely wonderful. She has got to be the kindest person at any hotel I've been too. We were so stressed out from the drive and the reason we had to come and she made my day. The room was huge and very clean. This hotel will be where I stay when my little niece has to come back to Shands.
