Great place for a week stay,it's location is impeccable for it is right in the middle of the college part of Gainesville so plenty of shops within walking distance.On top of that ALL the staff are very friendly and polite which is a rarity in the hotel industry,rooms are always clean so no worries book the stay.

Clean and staff was friendly, but it's pretty old and outdated. The whole place could use a face lift. No frills or amenities but it's decent for a place to sleep for one night. Within a short walking distance to Dunkin if you want coffee. Try using less bleach when cleaning.. too strong smelling.

I stayed here for Gator home opener 2022. The management and staff were very nice and helpful. The place is about a mile for the stadium - nice easy straight walk. Dunkin’ Donuts a block away. The Lodge is a classic Gainesville spot which is close to campus. No major frills but excellent location and great staff. Room and bathroom very clean. Great option for walking distance motel from campus.

They have smoking and non smoking rooms and there is a concrete patio with a seating area toward the road if I remember correctly
Where are you now
I have known that to be a hooker hotel in the past like Freddy says. Mister coming for my girlfriend who lived in Gainesville for years. But we stayed up there recently and it was a nice clean hotel when we didn't have any issues going over there not sure if they accept pets or not call the front desk. The family that owns it doesn't speak the great greatest English, but there's son who goes by the name of spider yes I know spider but he's a really nice guy and he'll answer any questions that you have
