I am fighting for my husband's life. He has ESLD. We have been trying to get him on the list for a year now. I contacted Shands twice through their website contact us form requesting info and appointment. I NEVER received a response. Thanks for nothing. Poor patient care. So very disappointed.

My name is Vicki Pentecost I had stage 5 renal failure. I was Blessed with a selfless Angel who I didn't know want to donate a kidney to me! Shands was my choice. I have had Awesome Drs and medical helpers. When I had transplant(Dec. 5,2018) the Drs and nurses were so helpful and caring! Only had to stay 3 days and my donor 11/2 days. I highly recommend Shands! I'm alive today because of live donor (Art Fales) and Shands medical team!

Very attentive and caring. The patient to nurse ratio seems to be excellent. We got great attention. Everyone was very polite and caring. Also very, very knowedgable.

No.

I was told that Shands no longer has a pediatric liver transplant department. Is that true?
