Definitely the administration of this place does not care about all the bad opinions of this place, one of the worst places I have had the misfortune to visit, I cannot describe in words the smells of the corridors, of the rooms, the dirt, the carelessness of the staff, I do not recommend anyone to pay these prices for anything, and the worst thing is that they do not see the intentions of changing what is poorly done.

We booked this hotel in July for a football game at UF. My husband had stayed here 6 years ago and had a great time. Well it has gone downhill. It is under renovation (which was not mentioned when we booked). The lobby is closed and you have to drive to the back where there is a make shift lobby in a hotel room. We had just driven 5 hours so i used the bathroom and it was disgusting. Dirty, no soap. We checked in and walked to our room. We were told it was on the second floor and to use the stairs at the end of the hallway. The hallway had holes in the walls, door handles missing on hotel room, blinking lights, the stairwell smelled of urine. We made it to our room. There were dead bugs on the lampshade and my husband killed a spider the size of his palm in the bathroom. I felt unsafe and it was dirty. After 20 minutes my husband went to the front desk and said we would not be staying. He mentioned all the above and especially the spider. The front desk person stated, “oh yeah that is a wolf spider.” Nonchalantly as if it happens all the time. We said we are not staying and we want our money back. They said we had to contact the sight we booked through and if they called they would say we didn’t stay. We did exactly that and called Expedia. We sent pictures of the rooms disarray and how unsafe the hotel was. When they contacted the manager they denied everything. We only received half our money back. Then to make matters worse they charged us $100 for incidentals (not a hold… charged) Also disappointed in Expedia for only refunding half of our stay STAY FAR AWAY!!
