I will remove this review if management starts heating the hot tub. Unless they cannot afford to keep it heated, in which case I will gladly throw $50 on top of my already overpriced rent to keep the water hot. Broke bois.

I’ve been living at The Retreat for 7 months now. While I enjoy living here immensely more than I do in those big block apartment buildings, I do have a few issues. Maintenance is slow to fix repairs and the furniture and general wear and tear on the apartment do not justify the price. I would not consider ripped up couches, burnt (how?) floors, and a dryer that has needed to be fixed almost every month luxury. The amenities are nice and I like having a play yard for my dog, but it is basically a sand pit with unsecured fencing. Management is alright. Can be helpful, but sometimes difficult. Overall, I would resign if I wasn’t graduating, but I do wish the price was right.

I have lived here for the past two years, and I have absolutely loved it. Maintenance is always on top of things keeping the property clean, and fulfilling work orders very quickly. The amenities are wonderful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The only bad thing I would have to say is that sometimes there isn't guest parking available, but parking is just a problem everywhere in Gainesville. I would HIGHLY recommend living here.

So far I have lived living here! The apartments are super spacious with plenty of room for my 3roommates and I and of course our pets! It’s super pet friendly both in the units and even in the clubhouse! The office staff is beyond super friendly and helpful. The amenities are wonderful and great for a quick workout or even chill days at the pool. Our unit have some slight fixes upon moving in but the maintenance staff has been awesome and always pretty quick to respond to any of our requests.
