The price of any county park, including Mercer is always free. It is paid for with your tax dollars. Both sides of the park are now open. The front portion of the gardens is absolutely gorgeous. The azaleas and camellias are in full bloom. There is a sea of purple pansies planted in the beds going to the gazebo and a huge row of kale planted in the beds leading to the tree house offices. Best of all, the outdoor bathrooms

My wife and I joined the Mercer Society during the east sides re-opening yesterday to support their continuing efforts. They have several upcoming public events you may be interested in attending, and they are family friendly. Enjoy.
