Plenty of fields you can use to play football. It's slow season right now and some fields are closed. Come the busy season, it gets packed so check with P4 Parks and Rec if you want to make sure you'll have a field for your group to use.

There is plenty of open space on the south side of Meyer Park behind the playground to set up your own football field with cones and the staff says its ok. All the soccer fields are off limits because you have to pay to use them through a local sports league.

I believe so meyer park has plenty of open spaces, many of them are designated for soccer. But i sure if you and a group make you own boarders, for the side lines and touchdown. Also if a particular soccer field isn't being used it should be fair game.
