The Greenway is a fully paved trail that is 16.9 miles from start to finish. It has some part of elevation change and some tight turns.

Closed at entrance to Jesse Jones Park I rode this morning.. Left Carter Park on my way to Humble ..had to turn around after crossing bridge and getting ready to enter next park..from there to I45 woodlands is open

Metal detecting is permitted only in parks that do not border Spring Creek or Cypress Creek, in order to protect cultural artifacts. Permitted parks for metal detecting are: Bane Park, Doss Park, Dyess Park, Independence Park, Lindsay-Lyons Park, Matzke Park, MUD 257 Park, and Mulrooney Park.
