My favorite park in the area. Always so much to do. Different playgrounds for the kiddos, picnic areas and walking trails. Plus amazing views! I had my baby shower and my daughter's bday here. This park is definitely a hidden gem.

It's nice there a few different play structures for various ages. My boss love the 3 story "rocket" and big slides! I love there are benches and picnic tables, plus a restroom and water fountain available!

Amazing park for all ages with restrooms and park benches/tables for picnics. It is very well keeped and maintained. They have small playgrounds, a large one to accommodate for bigger kids, they have a volleyball court and basketball court. They have nice clean safe trails and a hill to roll down on. They have soccer goals and a skate park. Overall a great park for everyone.

It was a but crowded and there were a few going faster in the parking lot than they should have been. The covered play area was perfect for today.

Yes
It is open now and there are nature trails to walk.
Yes, you might be able to park behind the Bush library and access it. Can't recall there is a gate there like there is for the playground.
Yes
Hi Sammy, the link Glass gave you is a great link. It basically tells you: There is limited fishing access and fishing is permitted along the banks of Cypress Creek within Collins Park. With the exception of certain species there are no statewide bag or length limits for fishing. Exceptions: Alligator Gar 1 daily Catfish (Blue/ Channel) 25 daily Crappie (black/white) 25 daily/ 10 inch max Flathead Catfish 5 daily/ 18 inch max Largemouth Bass 5 daily/ 14 inch max White Bass 25 daily/ 10 inch max They even show you pictures of the type of fish you will find...
Of course not take away all the basketball courts man.... fuxking retarted. This park gets 1 star
Yes. I have seen it all the time. Just be courteous and clean up your mess.
Myers Park at the back by the fence line is the dog park.
No sir they have been removed
No. They used to have basketball rims but they took them out and replaced them with a kids jungle gym and a volleyball net. The reason for this was because Basketball players kept fighting and causing trouble.
You can use any of the pavilions or picnic areas on a first come, first served basis. They do not allow bounce houses at Collins Park but there are many different playground areas.
You can reserve it by phone, but you have to reseve it 3 months ahead of time. The deadline for anytime in June was March 1st. We didn't even look until after March 1st.
The soccer field at Collins Park is free to use for anybody on the weekends without a reservation, but you have to book online Monday through Friday to use the soccer field for weeknight practices.
