Great place to get away and hike without driving to far

A great place to stretch your legs and see the sights in nature. A beautiful laid out playground where the kids can explore while having fun. With miles of hiking/ biking trails to explore and catch a glimpse of wildlife in their inviroment, it's a fun place to visit time after time...

Walking path is surrounded by open spaces, so yes, leash is suggested due to bicyclist and joggers. Pundt park has the dog park.
Yes
You should report it immediately to the office cause Dennis Johnston Park is very strict on no motorized vehicles number one rule.... I mean you can also use it as bait for fishing
Yes, the Spring Creek Greenway Trail is open connecting Dennis Johnston Park to Jesse Jones Park (about 14 miles to the east). There are other parks with restrooms that you can stop at along the way.
Yes,you just need to speak with Precinct 3 Program Educators at Dennis Johnston Park. They are in the small A -Frame building immediately to the right when you pull into the park. Rusty,Ross,Justin,Kris, and Erica are who you would speak with.Mondays through Friday are when you most likely to find them
8pm.
I would call them.
There is a sign by the small lake that says 5 fish limit.
Yes on a leash
Weapons are NOT allowed. I do my walks/run...I have to take care of myself one way or another. There is also a constable office there. So police are everywhere.
There are, but you have to turn the knob on the third tree to reveal them.
Not sure.. don't even know if they are in the park?
Yes, free access to the park. Catch and release pond is nice, too.
Yes, but you must bring all your own equipment. The launch is about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot. You would launch from the bridge under Riley Fuzzel. You can also launch from Pundt Park, which is much shorter of a walk.
I think at 7 am
I'm pretty sure I remember seeing grills by the picnic tables...
It closes at dusk, so no night fishing.
Start at Johnston and go east, will take you all the way to humble, then come back. It's about 37 miles. They are extending it to Exxon mobile. Can't wait
