You could take most of a day, it only took us 2-3 hours as we didn't want to see everything. We just looked at things that interested us.
If your really interested in cars and two or more people you could be there 4 or 5 hours. Take a lunch and drinks.Food and drinks are a little pricey. A lot of walking around the grounds 4 or 5 two story buildings I think there a few picnic tables and benches scattered. Cars in most of the buildings even on the 2nd floor of the buildings.
Thank you all so much!!!
If you like to read the history and really look at the vehicles give yourself the whole day.
Give yourself 3-4 hours. Well worth the time.
Depending on your interest in the "Brass Era" cars, it could take a couple to several hours. It is a small museum, but very high quality and unlike most museums, you can lean in and survey (not just take a look) the entire driving compartment.
The Gilmore Car Museum is a self guided experience. Some of the out building are not open during the winter months. But during the summer you could take a leisurely 4-7 hours while strolling through the buildings and learning about some of these historic vehicles. Take your time, take pictures and bring home new knowledge of a car you never knew existed or another one that you have lusted over since you were a teen.
It depends how much you want to see and at what pace! There are multiple buildings with different car makes. To see everything it might take 4-5 hours.
It partly depends on what time of the year you visit. Right now a lot of the buildings are closed until Spring, so you can see a lot in just a couple of hours.
4 to5 hours
