The thoughtfulness Dave has put into this place definitely shows. My favorite is of the local history. You can read about it and look at photos. You can hold most things on display. Dave is knowledgeable about it all if you have questions. I love it here. Sometimes I go just to watch a old horror flick on the TV and eat popcorn. Definitely recommend checking it out for yourself!

We went shortly after they opened for the day and met Dave the owner who's a very knowledgeable curator! He was very open to any questions while people were there. I will be coming back!!

Two thumbs up for this museum that boasts a large number of exhibits chronicling human beings' terrible and inventive ways to punish, terrify, chastise, or evoke compliance -- everything from the mild pillory, stocks and dunking stool to the more persuasive burning of witches to iron maidens. My favorite is an authentic metal chastity belt with big, nasty teeth. (PS it is housed inside the Mineral Springs Mall.)
