The museum is outstanding. The exhibits are well done and the guides provide excellent narration. Our guide Hanif Haynes is a native of Pin Point and provided an excellent verbal history of Pin Point. This was the highlight of our vacation.

Unique historical museum, allowing visitors a close look at the Gullah community and their connection with the sea, the marsh, their work and their history. Well done...a must see when visiting Savannah!

A Vacation to Remember-Our knowledgeable tour guide, Mr. Hanif, shared the rich history of his family and others who lived and worked on Pin Point. It's hard to image that people worked there until the mid 80s! Also while there, I was surprisingly reunited with a family member after 27 years! Tears of Joy!

Magnificent. I will always stop by Pin Point whenever I come back regardless of how many times I have seen it. Sep 2021 • Couples My husband and I visited this GEM of Savannah and it was the most heart felt tour I have ever ever been on. These Gullah/Geechee people and their story was literally the highlight of our whole trip. I will hold them and this experience in my heart forever. This is a place, no matter what when I visit Savannah I will always come back to. Yes….it’s like that. Y’all enjoy. You will not waste one second of time visiting this site. In fact, you just might gain a whole deeper meaning to your life. Plain and simple.

Yes, our museum has concrete pathways and ramps so that all visitors can access each area of the site.
I dont remember but it isn't expensive plus it is worth thousands of dollars. One of the coolest museums I have ever visited!
They have guided tours by certain hours, recommend calling for those times. You can join the tour along the way if late. No, not much walking. Unlikely to need resarvation for tour.
This is a beautiful place. Well worth the trip. It is a place in history where all the people respected each other and worked together for a common goal.
