Great little park. Nice trails. The host was very friendly and informative. Bring bug spray for sure. Kid friendly. We brought our stroller, the trails are definitely covered in roots so it's a bit rough but doable. Also dog friendly! Will definitely visit again!

A beautiful nature trail!

Really enjoyed our time here, the trails are easy to navigate with lots of pretty wildlife to see.

We decided to go with this location after seeing the reviews on the app "All trails". Great place to get out in nature and enjoy the walk up to the Ogeechee River. Rates were $5.00 per person. They do have discounted rates for military and seniors. I would rate it as easy and also per friendly. Benches along the trail just incase you want to stop and rest or sit by the river to enjoy the peacefulness of nature.

Yes.
You should always be aware of the dangers in the wild. Our trails are strewn through a natural wildlife refuge. The animals here are not restricted by fencing or cages. Take caution like you would when walking through any natural forest.
About a mile, varying trail conditions. Dirt path with some elevated man made wooden walk ways. There are many tree roots that could trip you up.
Savannah Ogeechee Canal does not allow Metal Detectors but appreciate your interest. We have archeology students that do our exploration.
Yes you can if you are a member. It's $30 or $40 for a year membership
Yes and you must pick up your dog doo. They even have a can at the entrance to put it when you leave
There are a bunch of trees. However there is L. Scott Stell County Park right down Bush road that has a lot of open air. The issue that you may run into is that the Fort Stewart reservation is close by and they don't allow drones in their airspace
I think so but not for sure on that
Yes but the roots make it difficult. There is an entrance fee of $3.00 per person.
