The county sprays in the park for mosquitoes, but there are still a few. There are gift shops, a Dollar General & restaurants close by. Major shopping is about 20 miles. They have an indoor heated pool & go tub. They also have an outdoor & kiddie pool. There is a fish cleaning station at their marina.
Yes there mosquitoes no sand nits they do have an area to clean fish camp fires are allowed but must be covered lots of mom and pop stores small grocery store most are in 1 mile area
I'm here in off season so No to mosquitos and lots. Plenty of convenience store type business but to Wal-Mart or any kind of big or chain type stores. Unsure about cleaning fish...havent seen anything around. Yes pool but not open nov to April.
