Will the flooding of the Arkansas River and nearby lakes have any effect on a camping trip we have scheduled at Mississippi River State Park beginning June 9th?

Portions of the park will be flooded but the main park area should be fine. Contact the park directly to be sure.

You should call the park office. When we were there in April, lots of farmland in the area had standing water so we were concerned about flooding as well. We were told we needn't worry about the campground flooding, as they had a watershed. Sure enough, all was dry there.
