Located right next to Quechee Gourge, a well kept park ποΈ with a few trails. One trail leads to the VINS Nature Center, another to a man made waterfall and a trail that runs perpendicular to the Quechee Gourge itself. Bring good hiking π₯Ύ shoes, bug π repellent and water for that one! Picnic π§Ί tables, not many, plenty of parking π ΏοΈ, map πΊοΈ of trails and a communication for those who are contemplating suicide, yes really! Carry in, carry out. I cannot remember if you can bring your pet π, but, I would keep an eye π on Fido because there is a busy road π£οΈ that divides the park. A father and daughter set up a lemonade π stand in the parking π ΏοΈ area. That's cool π! I visited to see the gourge and waterfall. I want to return to walk the trail to VINS.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Stayed at site 11. Sites were well spaced out and very well maintained. Facilities were also very well maintained. Shout out to the VT state parks staff who do the upkeep. Also⦠everybody respected the quiet hours. It was silent before 10 pm.

Just popped in to see the gorge. The staff is super friendly and helpful both at the visitor center and campground. Easy trail to the gorge, directly in a little city though so thereβs lots of noise pollution. Thereβs also litter and graffiti along the trail so youβre not as tucked into nature as I would have preferred.

We visited Quechee Gorge for a hike with our dog. From the visitor center along US-4, a trail led to the gorge trail where a left turn led about half a mile to the base of the gorge. I scrambled out on the rocks for a nice picture of the β¦

I'm afraid not, you have to pay I'm not sure what the going rate is.
If you go to the south side of the bridge, the trail bring a you to the water level. People do swim. But is a river, it's fast, use caution.
Not that I have ever seen. At least downstream it has white water and lots of rocks. Ausable chasm in NY has or at least had a boat ride.
No but if you walk down to the bottom of the gorge you can swim/wade there.
No, you only pay if you're camping which has its own designated area of the park.
There is a souvenirs and snack shop right next to the gorge that has tables. But, if you stay on the same side of the gorge, there is a small trail that heads back towards Dewey's Mill Pond and the dam with a cute picnic section overlooking the gorge and covered by a canopy of pine.
Yes in the campgrounds or picnics area
I believe it would be a small fee to add a tent to your site. But yeah, like the others suggested, I would call the campground. I found that the staff there were very friendly and helpful.
I would highly doubt it. Its a state park, which usually means no guest golf carts in my experience.
