The campground was nice, quiet and clean. Note they prohibit alcohol. Our campsite was very spacious. It’s close to I80, so there is some truck noises throughout the night, but we still slept fine. The bathrooms were solid but maybe slightly under-maintained (low on TP and soap). The camp host was happy to restock for us.

Asked the office if the water fountains worked at the bathrooms, they didn't. The lady at the desk was nice enough to walk to where I was fishing and handed me two cold bottles of water. Not for nothing, that's stand up hospitality. Also explained that the water spigots work and they're offer potable water. Thanks so much for your kindness.

The campgrounds and bathrooms/showers were meticulously maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you have exact cash or a check to pay for the day pass, $5, if you don't have an annual pass. The lakes were small, so a little disappointing. Easy access to and from the highway with a gas station near the entrance. The handicap spot next to us had a beautiful concrete slab.

A favorite camping site. Additional new campsites opened up this year expanding their capacity. Morman Island has something to do for everyone. Hiking trail, camping, a lake swim beach, fishing and playground equipment. The bathrooms are well maintained and clean in the original camping section. They are brand new in the camping expansion. The only downside is some interstate traffic noise.

Reservations needed for camp grounds.
Yes. Unless it has changed.
There is a 21" limit on large mouth, but yes you can keep if they are large enough
Room number
Hobo Joe's then Tommy's then Nine Bridge
I don't actually know that
Drove around quickly what I thought was the whole place and didn't see any cabins either, but they did have a nice big primitive camping area
Yea
Some sites are reservable others are first come. According to pamphlet 17 electric sites may be reserved and 17 electric sites are first come, first served. The 18 tent sites and 38 non electric sites (tent or camper) are not specified.
Yes
You have to have a State Park sticker If you do not you pay $5 per day per vehicle per vehicle for day passes to get into the park and I believe the tent sites are $13 a night, you can stay there up to two weeks in that one spot and then you have to move to another spot you do not make reservations it's first come first serve it is a state park hope that helps
The Crane Trust Nature and Vista Center would also be an option.
Yes, but not thick yet. Our temps are very cold presently so soon they will be firmly iced
No and some people who camp here are very mean and will report you if they saw you doing it.
No there is not
NOT FREE as others have stated. No sewer or water hookups, only fill and dump station. $25 for 30 amp electric, $30 for 50 amp. Very nice park for camping, fishing, and swimming!
