There is a beach area with lake access in the park. Very good sized swimmimg area.
Yes you can swim there it is a public area however I would recommend checking the Missouri Department of Natural Resources website because often times when there is heavy rainfall it makes the contaminated levels too high and they don't recommend it for swimming. Howe
