The best advice That Physician's Gave us at The University of Virginia Hospital IS TO ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS to prevent Illnesses from Spreading,as my Husband would be immune Compromised I can Attest This Really Works Of all the recommendations To prevent spread If this pandemic This not mentioned enough
Protecting the health and safety of our guests and team members has guided our decisions and actions throughout this pandemic and remains our top priority. Current CDC guidance calls for indoor mask use in areas with high or substantial COVID spread, and, according to the CDC, Goodhue County is currently experiencing a high level of community transmission. We will continue to monitor updated CDC guidelines and make any appropriate adjustments to our current policies and procedures. For more information and the latest updates to our health and safety protocols, visit www.ticasino.com/backtotheisland. We thank you for your understanding and patience.
The cdc still says they absolutely help to prevent the spread. Osha also says wearing masks does not reduce your air quality...thrs actually a whole section that addresses this rumor on their website. So, im not sure where you got your info. They only help if all the other protocols are being followed as well...which everyone has gotten so relaxed that most aren't...I see so many people that don't even bother to wash their hands...so I dunno either. As far as health defects...my father who had asthma and COPD had no problem wearing a mask. Its not like you need to wear it 24/7 only when in close contact in public. It takes a collective responsibility to quell a pandemic and so many people are passing around misinformation and/or are truly uneducated or haven't been able to differentiate facts from rumors and that's a huge part of the problem.
I don't have a good answer for this darn good question.
