Admission to the park is free. There is a parking fee in effect from June through October.
This is from their website: "A pay and display parking fee program at Fort Williams Park will begin on Monday, July 1, 2019. Metered parking will be charged 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. daily. Hourly parking is $2 per hour/2-hour minimum. A full day parking pass is $10. A season pass is $15. All passes are purchased at the meters at Fort Williams Park. Credit cards only are accepted for payment. The pay and display program will be in effect May 1 – November 1. Pursuant to Maine law, a vehicle that exhibits a permanent placard, a temporary placard or a disability registration plate is exempt" https://www.capeelizabeth.com/home/topics/fort_williams_parking_fees_2019/bullets.html
All parking is free in the winter. However, all of the buildings are closed in the winter. Still gorgeous and amazing to walk around the park.
Some parking lots you have to pay but a few are free. The surrounding areas of the lighthouse are free, to get in has to be paid
They are supposed to be charging for parking in the summer but I'm not sure when that will start and what the rates will be.
No, the grounds are free and open to the public. Not sure if you are able to go inside the lighthouse or of there is a cost to it.
