Really nice hotel that offers several different room styles. Has a laid back vibe and is in a perfect location for a day at the beach, in the city, or venturing out farther. The disappointment for us here is the food. Terrible vegetarian options, we tried a few things that were honestly disgusting - couldnt finish the crispy tofu or the brussel sprouts. The breakfast potatoes and french fries both tasted like salt. We would suggest a more simple menu that doesn’t try too hard. Otherwise, we would stay again, we really love this spot.

This Inn is a gem from the property to the people! Laurie coordinated our work event with such great organization making sure every detail was perfect. Jessica went out of her way to be sure our meals went smoothly and the food was amazing. Even got a facial and the spa was amazing. If you haven’t been, GO. You will not be disappointed.

One the nicest 4 star resorts, by far (not all 4 stars are equal)! We will be back. The 1 bedroom suites are wonderful - facing the ocean. Ground floor is special because of the large patio facing the ocean although there was some noise from the upstairs guests walking. The accommodations and use of space displayed a touch of elegance with a desire to fulfill all the needs of a long-term visitor (his and her closets, TV chairs, and plentiful drawers in the bedroom). The space is expertly configured with no waisted area. Outside the large bedroom is a living room (separated by a heavy wood pocket door) which contains a fireplace surrounded by a small sofa and 2 comfy chairs. The living room area also has a dining room table that seats 4 and a small kitchen with a coffee maker, full refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and dishes. A counter separates the kitchen and the dining room table. The room looks far bigger because the picture windows overlook the ocean and a welcoming front porch that includes a sofa and chairs for outdoor relaxation.

Had an amazing experience staying here! Dog friendly was key for us and they certainly were. The restaurant and spa were both lovely as well! And it was just a short walk to Crescent Beach and 15 min drive into Portland! Look forward to coming back again!

Yes we do have traditional hotel rooms… as well as one and two bedroom suites. Thank you for the interest… hope to see you at the inn!
Dear Stacey Stone: Thank you for the inquiry. Inn by the Sea has two bedroom suites with full kitchens, living rooms and fireplaces that are intended for families- either the two bedroom Cove suites or the two bedroom beach suites fit that description. 2 Bedroom Cove suites have two queen beds in one bedroom and a king in the other as well as a pull out in the living room. The best way to book a suite for your family is to chat with Natalie, Anne or any any of our guest services people who will be able to describe accommodations and give you exact rates for your specific dates. Please call reservations at 207 799 3134 and they will be able to give you the best, more current information. I hope we see your family at the Inn in 2019! Many thanks for the interest and inquiry. Best wishes Rauni Kew. Inn by the Sea
Yes, some of the rooms are dog friendly. When you call for a reservation, let us know if you are bringing your dog so that the appropriate room is assigned
