Those are very solitary animals. Few and far between. Best bet would be a zoo or Turpentine Creek in Eureka. I have seen some in Madison county but not when I've been in the Buffalo area.

I wouldn't count on seeing a cougar. But there are probably some in the Buffalo valley. Lots of heavy Forrest.
