As of September 2018, if you call the hotel directly, you can get the UAB Hospital Rate, but it is still expensive. It was worth the coat to me when my husband had surgery to be right there at the hospital.
Call the social worker at the hospital and they can direct​ you where you might be able to save some money at another place.
I asked and was told they didn't. Very convenient to hospital but very very high price to pay for it.
I don't believe there is but it never hurts to ask.
No idea but that would be a nice offer by the hotel.
