This was not a great stay at an Embassy Suites. We went to Manager's Reception at 6:25pm and all the snacks were almost gone and there were at least 20 people in line for a drink with one bartender. We waited about 10 minutes and the snacks were never replenished and the line barely moved. We were not able to enjoy this. The floors in our room were dirty. I wore my flip flops when on the room. The shower had a horrible leak. It should be addressed soon. There is a lot of water going out around the tub and the constant running water and drip was annoying. I had to call down to guest services to get bedding for the sleeper sofa. I had to call back about 20 minutes later because no one had come up. After an hour of no one bringing the bedding, my husband had to go to the front desk to get himself. This is unacceptable. However, The ladies in the breakfast are were friendly and attentive!

First time visiting this Embassy. Was able to check in using the app. Room size is spacious and clean. The wings from the Hoover Grill are great. Of course, I enjoyed the receptions each night! Location is terrific. Definitely will be back.

The bed felt like a cloud!! I was so obsessed with it we look to see the brand! The breakfast was AMAZING!! Pool was nice and heated. I had steak for dinner my husband ask for a peace and I did not share it at all!! I truly enjoyed myself!! Nothing bad about my experience at this hotel it was exactly what I was looking for money well spent!

Embassy has a reputation of excellence. I've stayed at many Embassy locations however, my most recent visit to Hoover, left me upset and disappointed! I was unable to check into my room upon arrival, and waited an additional hour and some change before I even saw a room. The hallways were filthy, my room was less than clean. There was a stain on the sheets, a splatter of something on the dresser, stains that resembled vomit on the bathroom door, and a spider/cobwebs on the ceiling. I was outraged! I was unable to immediately address the situation because I had to rush and get dressed for a function, for which I was 45 minutes late. Did I mention my room was unavailable an hour after the original check-in time? Anyway, upon return from my engagement, I had to park in the adjoining parking garage. The elevator leaving the garage was filthy and wreaked of urine. I felt unsafe! It was accessible without a key card. I tried my best to push past the short comings of this location, and consider the hotel may be understaffed. I looked forward to a good night's rest. That was short lived! My bed was hard as rocks. There was no bounce or give to the mattress. To top it off, there was a miniature dog next door barking periodically through out the night. It was HORRIBLE! At check out, I expressed my concerns with the attending clerk and he stated I should be compensated for my bad experience. He gave me the manager's card and said he would write a note explaining my concerns. He also stated the manager would call me today to discuss how I should be compensated. I still haven't heard from the manager, even after I called and left a voicemail. The best thing about my stay was the omelette! I will take my complaints to the next level since local management can't be bothered. I urge corporate to reevaluate the occupancy levels at their hotels. If there are 200 rooms, and only 100 guests can be served effectively, do that and maintain a level of excellence until staffing is sufficient.
