Are there picnic area's inside or near the entrance to bring food in like a birthday cake or y'all have a booth

There is a picnic area near the main parking lot, where you can bring your own food and drinks. There are picnic tables, but no restrooms. They also have areas and buildings available for rent inside the zoo for special occasions, they have information online. Riverbanks does not allow pets, food, drinks, coolers, skates or radios in the park. Exceptions to this rule may be granted for guests with special needs. You will need to inquire at the front gate. You can bring a stroller, but you may want to call and confirm about a larger wagon style cart. They do have wheelchairs and strollers that are available for rent at the Riverbanks Gift Shop in the Zoo’s main entry plaza and at the Garden ticket booth. All rentals are first-come, first-served based on availability. No advance reservations are accepted.
